Happy Trails

The Flyers announced today that everyone's favorite werewolf, Eric Desjardins, will be retiring from the sport on Thursday. Even though he was slowed by age and injury in the past two seasons, we'll still miss the old boy and look back fondly upon his steady play. (Even Chris Therien managed to look vaguely competent when he was paired with Desjardins.)

(And, yes, I realize that probably not one single person who reads our blog probably cares about hockey, but it needed to be said anyways.)

While it's still baseball season and I'm just stupidly sitting here thinking the Phillies might make the postseason (even though it's a foregone conclusion that they'll just rub those dreams into the pitchers mound dirt), it's nice to see ol' Eric bid farewell. Only a scant few months before we can stupidly sit here thinking the Flyers might perform in the postseason (even though it's a foregone conclusion that they'll just rub those dreams into the goalie crease ice).

Darn you, Billy Penn and your curse! Darn you to heck!

Blogger needs to hire better programmers to do their pages... That question mark was supposed to say "Michael J. Fox" and link to the IMDB page for TeenWolf. (Well, it does link to that.) It looked fine in the preview. Bleh.
